Tuiofu Hunkin takes down WPTDeepStacks Thunder Valley Main Event for $121,000
Tuiofu Hunkin has won the WPTDeepStacks Thunder Valley Main Event by beating a strong field of 678 entries.
Hunkin defeated Yury Klimenkov heads-up to collect the $121,000 first place prize and earn a $3,000 seat into the 2019 WPTDeepStacks Season Championship. Klimenkov took home $84,500 for his runner-up finish.
The Main Event took place at the Thunder Valley Casino in Northern California which turned out to be Hunkin’s first WPTDeepStacks title and his career’s highest tournament score. His total poker tournament earnings are now $200,734.
