Sandro Pitzanti tops 888poker WPTDeepStacks Malta Main Event
Sandro Pitzanti emerged victorious at the 2019 888poker WPTDeepStacks Main Event by outlasting a strong field of 275 entries. The €1,000 buy-in event took place at Casino Malta from April 11-14.
He beat player Stefano Schiano heads-up for his first WPT title, €52,000, and seat to €2,000 WPTDeepStacks European Championship Deauville Main Event. Schiano received € 34,700 for his runner-up finish.
This is Pitzanti’s second live poker tournament title. He has now over $442,596 in total poker earnings under his belt.
