Michigan’s Chris Moon emerged victorious at the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) FireKeepers Main Event by outlasting a strong field of 1,592 entries. The €1,100 buy-in event took place at the FireKeepers Casino, Battle Creek.
He beat player Jeff Hill heads-up for the title and $258,407 top prize. Hill received $158,902 for his runner-up finish.
This is Moon’s career-best live poker tournament score. May has proved to be a great month for Moon as he claimed his first live tournament title at $1,650 NLH Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) Main Event just two weeks before this win.
